Hello, I'm trying to find information concerning my Great Grand Uncle John Thomas Kirby. I know he served in WWI in the American Army (We have 2 photos of him in his uniform)
However, I cannot find any information on him concerning military service.

His basic information is on Ancestry.com aswell as fold3.com but again no military service is shown when searched.

Here is his information:
John Thomas Kirby
Oct 21 1898-May 7 1967
Born in: Gassaway, De Kalb, Tennessee
Died in: Topeka, Shawnee, Kansas
Residence: Civil District 13, Warren Co, Tenn
Married to: Ethel Pearl Ingram (1900-1991)

Here is a link to his picture (again with some basic info)
