There were several US Ships named TRIPPE:

USS Trippe 1812--burned by the British

USS TRIPPE DD33 1910, 1924-1930, WWI and Coast Guard

USS TRIPPE 403--1938, WWII, Sunk as a result of Operation Crossroads

USS TRIPPE FF1075- 1969-1991
