Hi Patty

Thanks for lookup but neither of these men are my Grandfather Thomas Mooney. His parents were John Mooney and Ann Weir Montgomery/Harper/Mooney he was born in 1890 and served in The Argyll and Sutherland Higlanders 2/9th Battallion which as I am led to believe was a Territorial Division. However he did survive the War and died in 1970 of old age, I am trying to find if anyone could find him in any records the 2/9th Battallion where broken up into other battallions and some fought in france my grandfather always said he fought in france and belgium I am just trying to find out if he did where he did

Regards

Harry
