Yes,it was 1918 he was wounded in the Argonne. His discharge
papers are very had to read his regiment unit etc,it's all
hand written the hand writing was not that good.His discharge
paper does say he was approved to wear a wound ribbon. We have none of his medals. I do want to get replacements if I
ca. I did copy the Wound Chevron from the other site. I
will have to look at his picture and see if by any chance I can see if he is wearing it. Knowing him he probably was not
wearing it.
