Dawson, Talmadge E. - WWI U.S. Army Veteran

Talmadge Edward Dawson was born in Kansas in 1895 and died in Northbrook, IL, USA, in 1974. His parents were born in Ohio. Talmadge E. Dawson served in the U.S. Army on the Western Front during WWI. He was a 'doughboy.' Family lore mentioned that he suffered from 'shell shock' and there is also another 'family lore' story where he may have served in the U.S. Army (an expeditionary unit)in Northern Russia just after WWI in 1920 fighting White Guards in Russia.

Talmadge E. Dawson is said to have married Margeret Jane Swartz twice- they had one daughter named Marie Ellen Dawson (b.Dec 4, 1945).

Talmadge E. Dawson studied at the University of Kansas and was mentioned as having become a Civl Servant after WWI.

Talmadge E. Dawson is the Maternal Grandfather of Brian Paul Kaess (dob 10-24-1967), born in Chicago, IL, USA. Talmadge E Dawson is also the great grandfather of Paul Jesus Kaess (dob 12/11/2001), born in Chicago, IL, USA.
