Soldiers of the Great War - pictures and casualty lists available

All,

Google has scanned and is providing for free the three volume set "Soldiers of the Great War" that includes pictures and name lists by rank of soldiers of World War I, including lists of those killed in action, injured, and killed by accident.

I've found that searching for " 'Soldiers of the Great' War Arkansas" [or whatever state you are searching] is the best way to insure that you get the volume that has the state you are looking for, since Volume III is usually the one that pulls up by default.

if you can't get books.google.com to work for you, let me know and I'll see if I can upload the PDFs somewhere. They are 85MB in size so they are too large to email without using a program like winzip to break the file up into smaller pieces.
