Hi Elaine
I don't think this is my Carl. My Carl was born Jan 3/1894. His mothers name was Johanna Elisabet Sundberg born July 7, 1871 in Sweden. His fathers name was Johan Martinsen who was born in 1864 in Norway but moved to Sweden as an adult.

Carl's sisters were Anna, Emma, Augusta and Ester.

When I spoke of the census I was referring to the 1911 census in Canada. I don't know for sure as yet but I believe Carl's father came to Canada in 1905 and went to Winnipeg. I think Carl may have decided to join his father.

I hope this helps. I will be away for about a week.

Thanks again,

Kathleen
