I beleive this to be him and his family in 1930 census.
It does not WW under military service which means World War.

You may want to contact this person Mrs Foster concerning the Fairview Cemetery in Dansville,Michigan.
"You call this number 1-(517)623-0008 and you ask for Mrs Foster she is the overseer of the cemetery. She is the person the funeral homes have to go through"

( i found this name in the message boards while searching for Fairview cemetery - http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/MIINGHAM/2009-08/1249523827 the message dated Aug 2009)

see if they have any of his records, especially if he had a military honor guard at his funeral. They may have info.

- I am not related - just an amateur military research and genealogist -
