Thank you for your response. Yes, I have this info. He was married to Mary and had a son Charles. I found the New York registration also, but it says he was born in New York. They landed there in 1902, and he was 10 yrs old. I found a Szekely from Lorain, Ohio, but Charles would have been 24-25 and this Charles was 28. I need to check this further to see if I can find him before or after in that area.

Rumor has it that he wasn't MIA, but just didn't come back for some reason. The one in NY was dishonorably discharged, that could make sense. Wouldn't there be a list of MIA's?
