Most WWI casualties were not brought back until after 1920 when the ABMC Cemeteries were being constructed. Families had the option for US or foriegn burial

Check for Patrick McHugh in Ancestry.com or Genealogy.com born Ireland 1887, died 1918

You will find a US WWI draft registration and a 1910 census for Patrick in Brooklyn with wife Hannah and child Anna.
