You can try writing to the Sixty-Ninth (Fighting Irish) att: Veterans Corp.or the Historian their address is 68 Lexington Ave., New York, N. Y. 10010 and send them a copy of your photo they might be able to help.
The 42nd Rainbow Division was made up of National Guard Units from 26 states. It's 4 regiments were 165th (formerly New York's 69th also called the Fighting Irish), 166th formerly Ohio's 4th, the 167th formerly Alabama's 4th and 168th formerly Iowa's 3rd with other units attached field artillery, machine gun, ambulance, etc.
