John W. MacDonald b. Scotland Jan 1891 and his brother George G.MacDonald b. Pennsylvania Sep 1898(possibly in McKeesport, PA)both served in WWI. George was killed in France, but John survived. Their parents were John b. Nov. 1861 in Scotland and Anna MacDonald, b.Nov. 1867 in Scotland. The 1900 Federal Census has them living in McKeesport, Pa. They immigrated to the US in 1896.

At the time WWI began, I don't know whether the family was still together and in Pennsylvania, or not. For any information about them and their military service I will be very greteful.
