Hi.
I think I am looking into a dark hole??
it appears that my gr. grandfather was in WW I? No one in the family ever said as much. He had an injury to his left leg (appeared to be shorter)-when asked he always gave some rediculous answer. all who could give infor. have long passed. When researching WW I records ran across a medical record for him. nearly unreadible. # on right hand corner on registration card #8964. on registration report # C 21-7-2 (the only thing readible "crippled left limb"
Where might I find service records and medical records for WW I - if possible?
