This is link is the history of the 82nd Airbourne Division.

York was in Company G, 328th Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne. He captured the german troops on Oct 8th. By November 1, 1918 the 82nd was relieved. The Divison suffered 7,000 casulities during their campaigns. In France it was June 16, 1918 to Nov. 1, 1918.
