THIS FAMILY IS GOING TO DRIVE ME NUTS.

I am and have been researching this family a long time. I seem to go one step forward and 20 back.

John Henry was born about 1853. I think his mother was Elizabeth "Polly" Laxton. Tha was Jackson's first wife. She died and he married Abigail Rose in 1854.

I am trying to find out where he kept John Henry from the time he was born till 1870. I find him and his grandmother in the 1870 Wyoming Co., VA census living with Wesley Farley, his uncle. I cannot find John Henry at all on the 1860 census.
