Is James b.ca1867 a son of Jesse and Lucinda? where did he go after 1880? Cannot locate.
Melissa Ford married 11-3-1895 Cabell Co Frank Burks
1900 Cabell Co Jesse Ford among children are sons: Jessie & Arnold In 1910 Cabell Co Jessie Ford and Arnold Ford are with Melissa Burks (their sister)..this being the reason I thought Jesse Ford and Jesse Parsons to be the same person. Why he changed his name I don't know - chances are he was hiding - but from what? He may have decided the war was a lost cause or maybe he was Lucinda's a run-a-way husband.
