In 1858 Valentine Meadows married Sarah Cook. On the 1860 census, they are listed with one son, William F. born c. 1859. Valentine was last known to be alive in a Richmond hosptal as a CW soldier, March 1865. I cannot locate Sarah after 1860. A second son, Jacob, born in 1860, is listed in 1880 Raleigh Co., and died in Raliegh Co., in 1925. He married Melinda Elizabeth Acord. Does anyone know what became of the parents? Are these children, William and Jacob in guardian records of Wyoming County?
