ARTHUR DNA Project---FYI!
Posted by: Pam Drake (ID *****0780) Date: September 28, 2006 at 17:16:58

For those descendants of William ARTERS(ARTHUR) & Mary "Polly"Davisson FRIEND who didn't know yet an ARTHUR DNA Project has been started.Only males with the surname of ARTHUR can participate. We would really appreciate at least one male ARTHUR,from this line,to be willing to offer his sample of DNA for the Project. Don't worry ladies you won't be left out!You can help underwrite the cost of the test. Also, male descendants of this couple with out the last name of ARTHUR can help with the costs too. We all want to know who William's ancestors were;right?

My cousin Ann went to an ARTHUR reunion last weekend in WV.Because it rained not as many people attended as usual. But,she did get some donations.Just not enough for even a 12 marker test! There are 25 marker tests,37 marker tests & 67 marker tests at this time. The more money we can get the higher the marker test we can have done with just one sample.

You can write Ann at: newella@frontiernet.net to get her snail mail address to send your donations. Or you can write Carolann Arthur at: carthur@bellsouth.net for more information.

Thank you for your help! I look forward to the results!! I will be sending my donation after my next pay day.

Sincerely,

Pam Drake in IN.
