I don't have a lot of data on the Newlons. I'll give you what I have:

MASON, Abraham & Emsey NEWLON filed consent papers signed by John NEWLON, father of Emsey, Teste: Lemuel M. Lake an William Newlon on 25 August 1845. Bond was filed signed by Abraham Mason & Lemuel M. Lake dated 25 August 1845. They were married 28 August 1845 by Joab Wolverton.

Emsey Newlon was b. 1/30/1823 to John Newlon and Isabela Yates The above data was sent to me by S.Smith, u1b02924@wvu.edu in 1999 Not sure if that is still a valid
address. My interest is in Arena J. Mason and Albien Carlton McCune, my grandfather's first wife. I have never found a marriage license for them. Arena was born in 1864.
There is no mention of Berkeley Co, but I wouldn't rule that out as I don't have much data on that family. I will
try to find a marriage license in Winchester, VA for my grandfather and Arena.
