King Families near Kingsville

Hello,

I have definite King ancestors from Harrison, Doddridge, and Preston Counties.

But I think these Kings might be connected to the several King families who came from Ireland during the Famine and settled around what is today Kingsville and in Scott Township. They were farmers or railroad people. One, (Miles King), I heard, was even a politician in Roaring Creek.

Does anybody know about these Kings. For example, where in Ireland did they come from? Were any of them Native American or married to Native Americans? (Back then, the NA spouses probably would have pretended to be Irish.) Were they Catholic?

Regards,
Cecelia Clancy - Pittsburgh
