Parting Springs is located in southern Randolph County, 5 miles southeast of the Town of Pickens, on County Route 45.

I am not aware of a school at that location.

The Turkey Bone School was located on the Winkler farm, about 1.5 miles east of Parting Springs, on County Route 45. This school was in use from the early 1890's until probably the mid 1900's. The old school building is still there today.
