My paternal family (Berthy's) lived in Amblersburg.
We are researching the family and would be very interested
in any information.
Family lore has it that ggggrandfather help build the B&O
over the mountains, and that gggrandfather was an
engineer (helper) on the grade from Rowlesburg to T/A his
whole career. (He is pictured in his locomotive in the
Terra Alta book).

Has the book been published, and if so, where are copies
available?

Is the Rowlesburg area Historical Society active? If so,
how does one participate. Thanks

Herold Berthy - Morgantown, WV
