Dear Gary, thank you for the response. I had gotten some of the information from the LDS site. As it appeared to have been submitted and not copied from actual records by the church I was leery about the correctness of the information. I do have a book on the Rinehart family, in which this line is mentioned. What I was having trouble with was the mention in another book that "says" that Polk and Earl are from a "branch" of Daniel Stemple's son Martin F.'s line. Perhaps that is not what was meant. Daniel was the nephew of David Conrad, and brother to John Martin.
