My cousin, Doyne Halbritter was a Preston County Historian and when he passed away in 1976, I inherited his library and files. I've been sorting and arranging for 25 years and am way past the book stage. I do anticiapate someday (2-3 years) issuing a CD/DVD that will have about 100,000 Preston County Individuals all linked. When I look these things up for people, It's really a form of
Quality Control Check on my decades of work.
Just as an aside, 1859 Germany Angelina Halbritter married a Vogel, and about the same time in Cicinnati Ohio, Anna Halbritter married a Herman Vogel.
Note, See CHRONICLES OF CORE by Earl Core, page 91 and 92 have a thrilling Civil War story and big Chase scene including S. P Fogle.
