Help Big Time Needed - Flick Family I think!!
Posted by: Lois Graybill (ID *****3093) Date: March 11, 2008 at 18:01:32

I am in such need of help. I don't seem to be able to find things for Preston Co., W. Va. on line. I am looking for the parents of my GGrandmother, Elisan/Ellizan Flick Lenhart, born Feb 18, 1828 in Preston Co., W. Va. She married Benjamin Lenhart and I think that was probably in Preston Co. also but I need help finding that also. The Lenharts lived in Preston Co in March 1847 when their first daughter, Rose Ann was born and then they moved to Somerset Co., Pa. by 1853. I found a mention in some family records that Elisan's mothers first name was Elizabeth but I have no idea if that is true. Elisan's first name has been spelled in many different ways. I am pretty sure that the mining was the connection between Preston Co and Somerset Co, Pa. I have worked on lots of family history and as I get older I am wanting so much to know who her parents were to put some finish to some of my record keeping and will praise anyone that can help. Thanks millions to all the wonderful searchers out there, Lois
