My g-grandfather, William Henry Everly, was married to two women - both Shaffers. He married his first wife, Louisa, born about Jan 1845, in Nov 1864. They had seven children & then she died in Jan 1880, probably soon after the birth of the seventh. Then William Henry married Louisa's cousin, Lavara (I'm guessing on the spelling here - I've seen many variations), born about May 1851. They married in 1881, about a year after Louisa's death, & had five children. I've never been able to track down parents for either of these two ladies. Would this Louisa be a match for yours? What about Lavara? Does she sound familiar?
