Harman Hills is located east of US Route 33 about midway between Riverton and Seneca Rocks. County Route 9 north of Germany Valley, from Hinkle Gap to Harper Gap, is named Harman Hills Road. The Harman Hills area is mostly steep, cleared, farm land, lying on the westerly slopes of North Mountain. There were several early homesteads in this area.
