Pam, I scanned three pages I found. I have some more, but I'll do those later - they do not pertain to James.

The marriage record transcription wasn't any help. I looked to see if James ever inherited anything. There was a James only listed once in the Will Book transcription I could find. I couldn't find a later set of books. He may have been a grandson of Frances Keatley by way of Frances' daughter Hannah. I did find a Hannah Keatley that married an Elijah Roach (Surety was Francis)on1/20/1807 in Monroe County, VA. I think the name spelling variation of Frances isn't important - women generally didn't leave wills or act as a surety in those days.
