Yes, Peterstown is located in Monroe county, West Virginia. It is just inside the state line. The closest town is Rich Creek, Virginia in Giles county. There are a lot of records in the courthouse located in Union, West Virginia. Just down the road from the courthouse is where the Monroe Watchman is located.
