My grandmother was the oldest daughter of William Hamilton Marshall and Rebecca Catherine Diddle. W.H. was born in Union, Monroe Co. in 1849, married Rebecca Katherine Diddle in 1873. In the fall of 1893 they moved with their children, Annie, Clark, Frederick Pierce, Effie Constance, Theodore Guy, John Carl, Estell Harold, Florence Ethel, and Mark Diddle to Illinois and settled in the Deer Creek Goodfield area. Their daughter, Willa Lorene, was born in Illinois in 1896.
I have lost touch with many of the descendants of my great-grandparents. Any information would be appreciated, and I would be glad to share what I do have, incl. pictures, obits, etc.
