Beginning where the grant of LAFFERTY calls for two white oaks and a hickory and corner to BANKS the two white oaks standing and marked and a hicklry stump found near the place thence with BUTCHER's formerly LAFFERTY ... down the river and crossing an arm to the point of an Island to two locusts and a white oak the white oak is corner to his own part of the LAFFERTY tract ... crossing the arm and up the meanders of the river to an elm on the bank or at the waters edge ..."
