Looking to the death record and/or obituary for my maternal great grandfather, Walter Reynolds, married to Ruth Ann Browing.
What I know:
In the 1880 census for Martinsburg, Berkeley Co., West Virginia, his spouse was listed as the head of the family and as a widow. In that same census file, a daughter by the name of Ruth was listed as being born in May and was one month old.
The daughter's Birth Certificate(Records of Birth, Volume 1,(1865-1881) Berkeley Co., Martinsburg, WV 25401, Page 111, Line 141) lists her birth date as May 7, 1880, lists Walter Reynolds, Painter of Martinsburg, WV as her father and Ruth Reynolds as her mother. Source of information on birth record was listed as her mother.
Any help or hint of where to look will be appreciated.
