Thanks Carol for your reply.
I have found documentation on Peter's service in the Revolutionary War, marriage bonds that he signed for his children, land tax records, and some other events.

However, I have not been able to find documentation which connects him to his father. Trees I have found state that Peter's father was Peter. Any ideas on where to find any documentation which supports this and that his wife is Eleanor Peters?

One thing that is really confusing - SARs apps list Peter as married to Eleanor Peters but states he died in 1830 in Kentucky. That threw me off and led me to believe that Eleanor Peters was married to a different Peter Johnson. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks, Lynn
