Allen Marshall,Sr. (born in Ireland) was a large land owner in Mercer county Virginia (now West Virginia) in the mid 1800's. He had four sons, James, Allen Jr (born August 27,1822 in Ireland), John, and William. County seat of Mercer county shows Allen Sr. gave 2160 acres to 3 of the sons, and 2160 acres to James William Marshall(son of Allen Jr.). Searching for information on Allen Marshall, Sr. such as wife, birth and death date, burial, any and everything! Allen Jr. and son James William came to Barry County Missouri in 1859.
