Hannams Gray, Frederick, Berkeley and Ohio Counties
The entry in the 1820 census that I believe to be Hannams Gray's is on page 2 of 11 of Pugh, Frederick County, Virginia. Though the first name is not readable this entry is just below John Gray (who I belive to be a brother from an 1822 will of father John spoken of on Rootsweb)and near that of Isaac Scott and Cristian Smith which also are near Hannams in the 1810 census.
In this 1820 census Hannams has 3 free white males under 10, 1 free white male 10-16, 2 free white males 16-26,1 free white male 45+, 3 free white females under 10, 1 free white female 16-26 and 1 free white female 26-45.
In the 1810 census for Frederick County, Virginia Hannams' entry is spelled Hanham and has 2 free white males under 10, 1 free white male 26-44, 3 free white females under 10 and 1 free white female 26-44.
I have later census entries for Hannams up to 1860 in which I believe Hannams is listed as Helms living next door to son Hannams Gray Jr. (also listed as Helms) who is a cooper in Triadelphia (near present day Wheeling, WVA) Virginia at that time. I can supply details of those if you wish.
