Bill: Thanks for your response.Your information was very helpful. I didn't have some of the information in your reply. Alexander and Margaret's son Samuel was my GGrandfather.Samuel(1863-1901) was killed in a mine explosion at Carbon Hill IL. in 1901. Samuels marriage license lists his birth place as Ayr Scotland but I have other information that lists his birth place as Newburn West Va. My Granndfather Alexander Fulton (1893-1947) died of black lung in Illinois when my Dad was 16 years old. Eddie was Alexander and Margaret's son. Alexander and Margaret's daughter Anna married a William Holden in West Va. Anna died in 1888 at Coal City IL. I have run into a lot of dead ends looking for information. I am looking for a picture of Alexander and Margaret or their children. I was hoping that maybe Alexander or Margaret had some brothers and sisters who may have settled in West Va. and their descendents could help me.I will continue searching. Thanks again for your reply.
