A statewide search can be done for $5.00. Send it to W Va State Health Dept., Dept of Vital Statistics, Charleston WV 25305. They have records for births and deaths from 1917 to present, and marriages from 1/1/1964. They will search three years-the year you think is correct and the year before and after. This will give you the county where the event occured. They will send you the address where to write for a copy.
