I have made a little bit of progress since I last posted a query for information. I am searching for information on the following Collins line:
William (Riley) Collins Born:Est.March 1867
Wife: Bertha Conn Born: Est. 1881
Children: William, Roscoe, Ester, Lucian, Robert,
Lorsie,Leonard. Possibly an Elizabeth and John
(William went by his middle name Riley, so records can read either way)
The son Lucian (B;1915), Married a woman named Beulah had had three children: Lucian Jr., Linda, & Henry.
Lucian and Beulah divorced and Lucian re-married to Barabara Marie Stapleton. They had one son named Robert Edward Collins.
Other Family Facts:
Lucian Jr.is my husbands father. (no contact w/ since 1980)
Lucian Jr. Remarried and has at least 2 more children.
William Riley Collins' father MAY be Jacob or Berry.
Lucian Sr.'s SSN App says born in Mt. Gay, Coalminer
Lucian's "Delayed Cert. of Birth":
F: Riley Collins, Mingo(? difficult to read) County WV
M: Bertha Conn, Mingo County West Virginia
1953 address: Whitman, WV
Any information on this Collins' line would be appreciated.
