Eldon,
I just read an artical yesterday on the History of Sand Hill Methodist Church in Marshall County.It stated that in the early 1800s that Sand Hill was called Apple Pie Ridge.
I found the artical on the Marshall County Cemetery page.
I think the cemetery was beside the church.
