Hi Jade,

My info that Joshua Sr. died in 1854 and that Margaret Efaw Goddard died in Marion, WV came from a cousin, Linda Goddard Stout, who has been researching the family genealogy for 30 years. I know she has the proof on much of the family but we talked about it and neither of us have any idea about where they are buried.

I've read Wetzel County's Cemetery site about 100 times over the years to no avail. I've even done readings and additions. We have Joshua's son John W. Sr. buried in Goddard Cemetery #2 but nothing on Joshua Sr. or Jr. Who knows, maybe they are there and their graves just aren't marked.

With no proof, we kind of suspect that Joshua Sr.'s parents William and Elizabeth were buried on the family farm, Plum Tree Plantation in Greene County but????

I began back in 2002-2003 then had to break away from it for quite some time. Linda is away from the genealogy for a while and I've been re-rentering all of my info in a database because my old computer crashed and like a dummy I didn't have a computerized back-up copy.

I saw that Margaret had died in Marion, WV and thought I'd take a shot in the dark and see if anyone there knew anything about them.

Maybe her death info is wrong in our files, I'll have to follow that one up to confirm.

Thanks,
Steve
