Information I have found on this hard to research family.

Marshall Hite was born abt. 1858 to George and Hulda Hite of Marion County, VA/WV. On 6 Sept. 1880 in Ohio County, WV, he married Anna N. Hershberger the daughter of John Sebastian Hershberger (1840-1925) and Mary (Rogers) Hershberger (1839-1913)of Palatine, Marion County and later Elk Garden, Mineral County, WV. Anna was born abt. 1858 and died 5 Feb. 1938 in DC. Abt. 1893 she married Henry Lewis Heitmuller of Washington, DC, and lived the remainder of her life there. She is buried in Rock Creek Cemetery.

Marshall and Anna had at least 3 children: Mary H. Hite, Frank Hite, and William Hite. Mary H. Hite was born 17 Jan. 1884 in MD and died 10 Aug. 1874 in DC. Abt. 1902 she married a Mr. Davis and had at least two children: Ralph M. Davis and James Leroy Davis. Betw. 1920 and 1930 she married William H. Holt and lived the remainder of her life in DC.

Frank Hite married Blanche Moss on 5 Oct. 1911 in Chilicothe, OH.

Should anyone have further information on this family, please contact me. Also willing to share all further info I have.
