My husband is related to Major John Bell West d. 1831 in Monongalia County. He is related to many of the Wests in your area. I don't doubt your Clarence is related somehow. Marion and Wetzel counties were full of our family. The West's seemed to make a habit of marrying into the Morgan family- our direct line alone married into the Morgans at least three times. Both families were very promanant- and there is lots of history here!
