Sue, Playing around with an online 1895 map (town listing) I found a Ross in Wetzel County with a population of eleven and a Post Office. Sorry, but the actual map did not show where in the county it was located. The same map shows a Franklin (not Franklinville) in Marshall County (borders Wetzel on the north), no number of residents shown so I assume it was very small, with no Post Office but being on a railroad line near to the Ohio River. Hugh
