Ott Family in Duval District

Looking for info on Ott family: William Ott, b. 1801, moved to Cabell County between 1830-1850 from Greenbrier County. Never married, last on Lincoln Co. census in 1880. Son of Michael Ott and Catherine Pence Ott. On 1850 census in Cabell/Lincoln Co.: William Ott, age 48; Michael Ott, age 77; Catherine Ott, age 55 (wrong age??); Simeon Ott, age 37 (William's brother); Julia A. Ott, age 50 (Sister); Elizabeth Ott, age 44 (sister.

In the Duval District William had 400 acres on MIddle Fork of Mud River; Simeon had 337 acres on Middle Fork of Mud River and 500 acres on Middle & Porter Forks of Mud River.

There are no death records available or burial records. Michael died in 1851 because Catherine gave power of attorney to Simeon in Greenbrier Co. and Simeon sold Michael's land there.

Any help appreciated. Janet Estep
