I don't expect you remember helping me out about 2 years ago with finding where S. B. and Mary Roberts were at. It was one of their daughters named Alwilda you were trying to help me with.
From what I've been able to piece together, Theophilus and Henry are brothers.
On Emily Roberts and Samuel Harris, I know I've looked for about 3 hours in the census trying to find them after their marriage in 1873 and I just can't find them any where. Maybe you caqn have better luck than me. I have a copy of their marriage record in Cabell Co which shows that Samuel was born their and that Emily was born in Kanawha Co, and that they were both 21 years old at the time of their marriage. I found a family of Harris's in the 1860 census living in Kanawha Co, Paint Creek being their post office. I don't know for certain that this is the right familly though. Their listed as:
John Harris born abt. 1819 in Va.
Mary A. born abt. 1826 in Va.
Spanel (believe this is Samuel) born abt. 1852 in Va.
Paulina born abt. 1855 in Va.
David C. born abt. 1857 in Va.
On Theophilus and Malinda Susanna Turner, they were married Nov 27, 1850 in Putnam Co. Malinda's parents were Thomas B. Turner and Nancy Tackett. I don't know where they are buried. I have a copy of the 1850 census with Theophillus living with Abram Smith in Kanawha Co, a copy of their marriage for Nov 27, 1850 in Putman Co. The 1860 census, they were in Kanawha Co, post office was Upper Falls of Coal. In 1870 census, in Lincoln Co, post office was griffithsville. The 1880 census, in Lincoln Co also. By the census, Theophillus was born abt. 1824 and Malinda abt. 1829 in Va.
Must of this info on Samuel Roberts and Sarah Spurlock was found by postings from other Roberts researchers on line. Samuel being born abt. 1785 in Mecklenburg Co, Va. andSarah Spurlock born abt. 1790 in Va.
Samuel's parents were William and Rhoda Burnett. William born abt. 1758 in Meckemburg Co, Va. died August 1811 in Meckenburg Co. Rhoda Burnett born Nov 12, 1765 in Mecklenburg Co, Va. died Jul 18, 1853 in Teays Vallley, Putnam Co, Va., buried in Hurricane Baptist Cem, Hurricane, Putnam Co. They were married in 1784 in Mecklenburg Co.
Williams parents were Thomas and Johanna Hatchell. Thomas born abt. 1738 in Va., died November 1811 in Mecklenburg Co,. Johanna Hatchell born abt. 1740 in Mecklenburg Co. Married abt. 1757. I found 12 children for them, if you want them.
Thomas's parents were Thomas and Hannah unknown. Thomas born abt. 1720 in Va, died abt. 1785 in Lunenburg Co. His wife was Frances unknown born abt. 1720 in Lunenburg Co. Three children by this marriage - John, William and Thomas.
I found 3 more generations back in Rootsweb by researchers if you would like their names also. I'm just not sure what info you have.
