Looking for any help at all on the Rakes families of Lincoln County, WV. Hent Rakes (believed to be Henderson Rakes-Mar 1889 WV), his wife Carrie-Mar 23,1889 to Jun 8,1973WV, and children Hent Rakes Jr., Dova Rakes, Vola Marie Rakes, Wetzel Rakes and Okey Rakes. Would like to verify Hent Rakes is Henderson Rakes. Henderson Rakes is the son of Floyd Rakes s/o Levi Chesley Rakes s/o Elisha Rakes s/o Henry Rakes Sr. of Buckingham County, VA. Does anyone know of any cemeteries where the Rakes are buried? Is there a Lincoln County, WV Cemetery Book? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
