I would like to find an obituary and news article regarding my grandfather, Denver Scott Nottingham, who was hit by a drunk driver on February 9, 1941, on the road at Duck, Wv when he jumped off the back of a truck on his way home from work, and was hit by a young drunk driver. He had worked for Pittsburgh and Monongahela Gas Company and always caught a ride home on the line truck.
He laid Eakle Clinic in Sutton for 11 months with a broken back. He died January 10, 1942, leaving a 21 year-old widow with four kids and one on the way. He was 30 years old.
Would appreciate any assistance in finding the obituary (10 January 1942). And the newspaper article of the accident (09 February 1941). Thanks, Sue Guy
