I'm going to take a shot in the dark here. I'm looking for the parents and siblings of Mary Elizabeth Heater. She was born 07 January 1861 and died 29 May 1905 in Braxton County, WV. She married George Janta Lipps on 11 December 1881 in Braxton County. She and George lived off of Grass Run Rd., Burnsville, WV (north of Heaters). They had at least 12 children, who, as adults, moved to Texas, Pennsylvania and Ohio, with at least three of them remaining in West Virginia. Mary is buried on private land once owned by her and her husband. The cemetery has not been maintained and has been used as a cow pasture for 20+ years. George moved to Ashtabula County, Ohio around 1920 and remained there until his death in 1943. His body was shipped back to West Virginia for burial beside Mary. He was the last to be buried in what remains of the cemetery.
George and Mary are my grandfather's parents.
My grandmother, Lillie Singleton was a descendant of Uriah Washington Singleton and Elizabeth Heater (daughter of Jacob Heater and Delilah Riffle).
Any information on Mary would be appreciated.
