JOAN WURTZ.
Presumably the daughter of of Philip S. Wurtz and Eula Lewis, m. circa 1920. This marriage ended in divorce,
P.S. Wurtz remarried in 1927. They had one child, Joan,
my mother's cousin. In the picture we have, she appears to be age 10, born between 1920 and 1927.
Eula Lewis Wurtz remarried James Ryal circa 1929. 1930 census indicates the James Ryal household consisted of James, Eula, and her mother, Mattie Lewis. However, so far as anyone in the family ever knew, Eula resumed the name of her first husband, and died in 1979 as Eula Wurtz.
Possible Joan Wurtz remained with her father. Eula Lewis Wurtz Ryal was my grandfather's sister. She cared for my
great-grandmother. Looking for modern day descendants, if any, and the place of internment for Eula and Mattie Lewis,
St. Louis, Mo. sometime after 1930. Would apprecaite a lookup if this is enough information.
