WUNDER (BELLA) ISABELLA_ Beloved mother of Richard, born March 8, 1908 in Sheho, Saskatchewan, passed away May 14, 2005 at the age of 97. Isabella was predeceased by her husband Earl, her parents, John and Mary Pasichnyk and all her seven siblings. She is the last of her family's generation. She is survived and will always be missed by her son Richard (Dick) and wife Joyce, grandson Wesley and (Connie) and her granddaughter Chris (Mark) Thomas and numerous nephews and nieces. Bella grew up on a farm south of Sheho where she attended a rural school called Rivington. After completing her schooling she worked for Sam Wunder and eventually married his son Earl in 1931. They lived on a farm west of Sheho where the original home is still standing, Earl passed away in 1943 and Bella tried to continue farming for a year. She then moved to Sheho, where she cooked for the boys' dormitory for a number of years. Later Bella moved to Foam Lake where she supervised and cooked for the girls' dormitory. During the summer holidays she worked in the Foam Lake hospital as a nurse's aid. Bella continued to work hard throughout her life at a number of occupations. She worked in the Anglican Diocese in Regina at another girls' school and then worked as a chef at the Hardwood Hotel in Moose Jaw. Her next stop was Edmonton where she was a devoted caregiver to Warren and Anita, children of Julian Dumamski who were toddlers at the time. Bella made many long lasting friendships throughout her life especially with the girls from the dormitory. Bella put her family first and always made herself available when her family was in need. She helped out if a family member was sick and was dedicated to her sisters, visiting and care giving when they were in the Foam Lake Nursing Home. The family would like to thank the staff of the Foam Lake Jubilee Nursing Home and Dr. Bia for giving my mother the most professional and loving care that anyone could ask for. We sincerely thank our family and friends for the kind attention and visits to Bella. Prayer services will be held in the Narfason's Funeral Chapel for family only on Wednesday, May 18th at 7:00 p.m. with lunch to follow in the senior center. The funeral will be held in the Foam Lake United Church on Thursday, May 19th with Rev. Kennedy officiating. Interment will be in the Foam Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in the memory of Isabella, to the Foam Lake Jubilee Home, Foam Lake United Church, and the Cancer Society. Arrangements in care of Narfasons Funeral Chapel.
